Connects, a fresh non-profit organization, focuses on media, film, art, music, and the creative economy. Founded by Tashima Jones of Tashima Jones Media, the heart of Connects is to inspire creatives, build authentic business relationships, and highlight the importance of information - sharing. 

​Through our annual 3-day industry-focused conference, quarterly events, and media outlets we aim to continue to connect multilevel creatives and professionals for the purposes of personal and professional development.

We’ve collaborated with individuals like Sway Calloway (Journalist/Sway’s Universe), Nikisha Bailey (Universal Music Group/The Recording Academy), Michael “Boogie” Pinckney (Writer/Director/Producer, p.g.a), Wé Ani (Singer/Songwriter/The Voice/American Idol), Jermel Howard (Power, Marvel’s Luke Cage, Writer BET+), Ryan Leslie (Artist/Entrepreneur) and more. 

Creatives have been able to connect with individuals in a variety of industries and companies including VH1 & Sony Music. Connections have also been made between creatives who eventually went on to create content on major platforms...together.
